Job Description
Perform and oversee a variety of analytical tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using established methods.
Ensure accurate and timely recording of test results and maintain detailed records.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of QC chemists and technicians.
Provide technical guidance, training, and support to team members.
Coordinate work schedules and assignments to meet production and testing deadlines.
Quality Control Processes:
Develop and implement quality control procedures to meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Continuously improve QC processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with established quality control procedures.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure that all QC activities adhere to regulatory requirements, such as FDA, cGMP, and ISO standards.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all QC processes and procedures.
Collaborate with regulatory affairs to support product registrations and submissions.
Investigation and Troubleshooting:
Investigate and resolve deviations, out-of-specification results, and non-conformances.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Equipment and Instrumentation:
Oversee the calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
Ensure that equipment is in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualification – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, or a related field.
