Job Description

• Responsible for product costing, review costing on any changes in material
pricing and to maintain and update in the system.
• To check and monitor BOM, maintain standard costs, selling price, product
structures and costing month end closing.
• Analyses actual manufacturing cost and prepares periodic reports
comparingstandard to actual production costs.1. Must have experience in preparing cost sheet, experience in cost control.
2. Should have worked in costing department. (Mandatory)
3. Experience in Cost Audit will be preferred.
4. Experience & knowledge in SAP will be an added advantage.
5. Should have good knowledge of basic costing, accounting concepts and cost
related compliances.
• Responsible for maintaining Cost Audit records.
• Analyses and reports on margins by product and project.
• Work with material review person to locate and dispose of obsolete inventory.
• Involved in overseeing cycle count process throughout the year.
• Reconciling inventory accounts to general ledger
• Responsible for all costing related compliances
• Responsible for preparing cost sheet.
• Liaison with cost auditor for preparing annual data for submission of Cost
Audit Report as required statutorily.
• Basic knowledge of accounts and GST.
• Internal co-ordination with stores and production team for job work processes /
wastage calculation / yield analysis.
• Background knowledge of textile manufacturing will be an added advantage.
