Job Description
1. Conceptualization and Design:
• Develop and create innovative interior design concepts for furniture and decor collections.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure that concepts align with brand aesthetics and market trends.
• Create mood boards, sketches, and renderings to visualize design ideas.
2. Product Development:
• Work closely with the product development team to bring design concepts to life.
• Provide input on materials, finishes, and color schemes to enhance product appeal.
• Ensure that designs meet quality and functionality standards.
3. Trend Analysis:
• Stay updated on current design trends, both in the furniture industry and interior design as a whole.
• Incorporate market trends into design concepts to keep our brand at the forefront of industry innovation.
4. Collaboration:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and manufacturing, to ensure a cohesive and marketable product line.
• Work closely with vendors and suppliers to source materials and accessories that align with design concepts.
5. Client Interaction:
• Assist customers in selecting furniture and decor items that complement their style and living spaces.
• Provide design consultations and recommendations based on customer preferences.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as an Interior Designer, preferably in the furniture and decor industry.
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative and innovative design concepts.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes related to furniture.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
