Job Description

1. NetSuite Development (Training Focus):
• Learn the fundamentals of NetSuite application development, including customization
and scripting.
• Gain proficiency in using SuiteScript (JavaScript) and SuiteFlow (workflow automation)
to modify and enhance NetSuite functionality.
2. Requirement Analysis (Guided Learning):
• Collaborate with experienced developers and stakeholders to understand and analyze
business requirements.
• Participate in translating requirements into technical specifications and proposing
solutions within NetSuite capabilities.
3. Customization and Configuration (Hands-On Training):
• Learn to configure and customize NetSuite modules, forms, workflows, and reports
based on business needs.
• Follow industry best practices and coding standards, focusing on proper documentation
of customization changes.
4. Scripting and Workflow Development (Skill Building):
• Develop foundational skills in writing SuiteScripts (Client, User Event, Suitelet,
Scheduled) to extend and automate NetSuite processes.
• Get hands-on experience in creating SuiteFlow workflows to streamline business
processes within the NetSuite platform.
5. Troubleshooting and Debugging (Practical Learning):
• Participate in diagnosing and resolving issues related to NetSuite customization and
scripting.
• Learn to analyze and debug code to identify and rectify bugs, errors, or performance
concerns.
6. Testing and Quality Assurance (Quality Focus):
• Engage in unit testing and quality assurance activities to validate the functionality and
reliability of developed solutions.
• Collaborate with the QA team to conduct testing and address any identified issues.
7. Collaboration and Documentation (Effective Communication):
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as business analysts and functional
consultants, to grasp business processes and requirements.
• Start documenting technical specifications, coding changes, and customizations for
future reference.
8. Continuous Learning (Self-Development):
• Commit to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest NetSuite technology
developments.
• Actively engage in self-study, research, and training to enhance NetSuite development
skills and knowledge.

security guidelines while working on NetSuite solutions.
