Job Description

Location – Nashik / Company Sector – It Sector/ Qualification – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements and specifications.

– Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to identify software defects and usability issues.

– Execute manual and automated tests to ensure the reliability, stability, and quality of the software.

– Collaborate with the development team to reproduce, isolate, and track defects and verify bug fixes.

– Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and provide input on usability and functionality improvements.

– Document test results, defects, and test cases, and generate test reports.

– Continuously enhance and refine testing processes and strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

– Stay updated on industry best practices, testing tools, and methodologies to drive continuous improvement. Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

– Proven experience as a Software Tester or in a similar role.

– Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

– Knowledge of manual and automated testing techniques and tools.

– Familiarity with bug tracking systems and test management tools.

– Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

– Experience in testing Desktop, web and mobile applications.

– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

– Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills:

– Experience with test automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).

– Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) for test script development.

– Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).

– Understanding of API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).

– ISTQB or similar software testing certification.
