Job Description

1.Define the Project Scope: This step involves understanding the client’s requirements & preferences, which includes a detailed discussion with the client to get an idea of their preferences, style, budget, timeline, and any other specific needs or constraints.
2.Concept Development: Based on the research and analysis, the designer will develop design concepts that meet the client’s needs and are feasible within the project’s constraints. This may involve brainstorming, sketching, and creating mood boards to capture the overall look and feel of the design.
3.Design Development: Once the concept has been agreed upon, the designer will begin to develop the design in more detail, creating floor plans, elevations, and other technical drawings, selecting materials and finishes, and creating 3D visualizations to help the client visualize the design.
4.Design Refinement: After the initial design has been developed, the designer will work with the client to refine and tweak the design until it meets their exact needs and preferences. This may involve making changes to the layout, adjusting the selection of materials, or modifying the overall design concept.
5.Documentation: Once the design has been finalized, the designer will create detailed documentation that can be used by contractors and engineer to execute the project. This may include technical drawings, schedules, specifications, Material chart and other documentation that provides clear instructions on how the design should be constructed.
6.Procure selection material: Finding and procuring décor items that match the design concept. They will also be responsible for creating material presentations that showcase the various materials and colors that will be used in the project, helping clients better understand the designer’s vision.
7.Progress Monitoring: During the execution phase, the designer may be involved in overseeing the work to ensure that it is being carried out according to the design documentation and that the project is progressing as planned. Designer should able to address any issues that may arise during construction.
8.Communication and Collaboration: The interior designer should communicate regularly with the client, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure everyone is on the same page and working towards the same goals. They should also collaborate with other professionals involved in the project to ensure a seamless execution.
9.Site Visits and Coordination: The interior designer should conduct regular site visits as needed to ensure the project is progressing according to the plan and that any issues are addressed promptly. They should also coordinate with site supervisors and other agencies involved in the project to ensure everyone is working together towards the same goal.
10.Project Management: The interior designer should manage the project from start to finish, ensuring that deadlines are met, budgets are adhered to, and the design plan is executed according to the client’s expectations.
11.Post-Construction Evaluation: Once the project is complete, the designer will evaluate the outcome to ensure that it meets the client’s needs and expectations and to identify any areas for improvement in future projects.

Qualification – Diploma / Bachelor Degree

Experience – 3 to 5 year

Salary – 17000/- to 20000/-
