Job Description
1) Ensure all the workers follow the discipline laid down by the company.
2) Supervise and arrange workers job responsibility along with other multi tasks to them.
3) Ensure all workers follow the process and procedures.
4) Quality of product to be checked and maintained throughout the production process.
5) Ensure minimal rejections.
6) Continuously checking to ensure safety practices and rules are followed at all times.
7) Good housekeeping practices (5s) being applied at the production floor and building.
8) Ensure HMT is set accordingly and checked thoroughly on a frequent basis.
9) Ensure that at the end of the shift cleaning is performed thoroughly by all the Workers within a designated time
10) Identify and lookout for quality problems and defectives in machinery.
11) Record material usage, plant performance in terms of efficiency, rejects and packaging material for the activity of the day.
12) Ensure optimum efficiency is achieved in the daily production.
13) Always work on the most cost effective manner eg. OT control, raw material dosing control, electricity control, proper treatment to pallet moulds and optimize available human resources.
14) Ensure a daily checklist for forklift drivers, compressors and shovels etc., are displayed and are checked by
Operators half an hour before the start of production, every day.
15) Ensure all records and data are properly documented in the daily checklist, eg. Color coat/GEP test report, tile extrusion, GEP coverage check report, HMT checklist.
16) To conduct meeting and toolbox talk with workers on a regular basis.
17) Ensure preventive maintenance program is carried out at plant to achieve smooth operation.
18) To participate in BU objectives, 5s culture, SPID projects, zero accidents.
19) To participate actively in Health & Safety audits, ISO audits & other audits.
20) To perform other duties as necessary when instructed by superior.
