Job Description

1. Annual Operations budget planning and execution to achieve planned budgets for EXIM
hinterland transportation of air cargo / LCL/FCL
2. Develop logistics operations strategies to maximize efficiency and minimize cost.
3. Ensuring that all logistics processes are aligned with the overall goals of the organization.
4. Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure high levels
of service delivery.
5. Directing and overseeing logistics operations and transportation management in logistics
vertical
6. Overseeing the recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of operations team of
logistics.
7. Conducting performance metrics analysis and setting performance goals.
8. Ensure compliance with local regulations and audit requirements for exports/imports.
9. Drive technology solutions upgrade to streamline operations.
10. Lead, mentor, and develop a large team of operations personnel to optimize performance.
11. Implement best practices and industry standards to continuously improve processes
12. Collaborate with vendors and third-party logistics providers to negotiate contracts, ensure
compliance, and optimize service levels and costs
13. Evaluate vendor performance and take corrective actions as needed to maintain high
standards
14. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, improve service levels, and
increase productivity.
15. Monitor on-time delivery, order accuracy, inventory turnover, and other relevant metrics to
ensure operational excellence
16. Assessing budgets, capital expenditure management, negotiating commercial terms with
vendors, concluding contracts, overseeing payments
17. Encourage the team to audit, analyze and review every process and bring about changes
in logistics.
