Job Description:
Develop and implement effective credit control and receivables management strategies.
Monitor and manage outstanding payments, ensuring timely collection from clients.
Maintain strong client relationships to facilitate smooth recovery processes.
Coordinate with the finance and legal departments for follow-ups on overdue payments.
Prepare reports on collection status and suggest improvements to enhance recovery efficiency.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines in recovery operations.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans for credit control and receivables management.
Assist in contract negotiation to ensure proper payment terms and conditions.
Conduct field visits to clients as necessary to ensure successful collections.
Work closely with the sales and accounts teams to improve cash flow and reduce outstanding balances.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of credit control and receivables management techniques and collection processes.
Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
Ability to work independently and handle client interactions professionally.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and problem-solving skills.
Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
Preferred Industry Experience:
Construction, Infrastructure, Real Estate, or related industries.
Experience in handling credit control and receivables management, client negotiations, and contract management.
