Location - Nashik / Company Sector - It Sector/ Qualification - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements and specifications.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to identify software defects and usability issues.
- Execute manual and automated tests to ensure the reliability, stability, and quality of the software.
- Collaborate with the development team to reproduce, isolate, and track defects and verify bug fixes.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and provide input on usability and functionality improvements.
- Document test results, defects, and test cases, and generate test reports.
- Continuously enhance and refine testing processes and strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, testing tools, and methodologies to drive continuous improvement. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Software Tester or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Knowledge of manual and automated testing techniques and tools.
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems and test management tools.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience in testing Desktop, web and mobile applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with test automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) for test script development.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Understanding of API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
- ISTQB or similar software testing certification.
