Accountant

1. Assist with the preparation of financial statements
2. Analyze and reconcile bank statements and general
ledgers
3. Post journal entries for accrued expenses and revenue
4. Maintain and record fixed assets
5. Prepare and file local compliance reporting as necessary
6. Act as a liaison for vendors to reconcile any billing
discrepancies
7. Perform monthly, quarterly and annual accounting
activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card
accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits,
and reviewing financial reports/support as necessary
8. Analyze and report on financial status including income
statement variances, communicating financial results to
management, budget preparation and analysis.
9. Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective
actions. Oversee taxes and abide by federal regulations.
